Subscribe to RSSBad Astronomy's Phil Plait explains why all those UFO reports about "sky spirals" seen over Australia were caused by the rocket exhaust from the Falcon 9's second stage. It's a rerun of last December's Norwegian sky-spiral sighting. Similar swirls have been seen in the wake of Chinese missile tests as well, by the way. The truth is out there ... on the Web!
