Watch today's hourlong Google+ Hangout discussion about alien worlds.

What happens when Fraser Cain of Universe Today and Astronomy Cast brings together Universe Today's Nancy Atkinson, the Planetary Society's Emily Lakdawalla, Bad Astronomy's Phil Plait and yours truly to discuss today's revelations about Earth-size exoplanets? Worlds collide! Watch this experimental Google+ Hangout talk show and let us know if you want to see more of these.

Very nice video and conversation Alan, I hope we will see more videos like this in the future.

Everyday that goes by, humanity will get closer and closer to finding a planet like the earth, it is just a matter of time. To me finding a planet just like the Earth will answer a lot of questions that humanity has been asking for thousands of years, "Are We Alone".

Have a good day, Tom And Lyn

Really interesting conversation Alan,While it's not the holy grail we all want to see,it's still early in the game,so I expect it won't be too long before we find a earth like twin with the potential for life.It's a great time to be alive,let all push congress to fund these important programs.

    We should not assume that only earth type planets can have life; Life can survive and prosper in places we could not imagine; Even on earth some forms of life die when taken to sea level or to an oxigen atmosphere etc;
